If you’re like a large portion of our patients and haven’t used up most or ALL of the coverage you are paying for from your workplace extended health coverage… you’re in luck ! You still have time to use them!
But hurry! There are less than 2 months left in the year to use up your extended health plan!
Looking for a massage? Sorry! We are mostly booked up for the year. However, there are still some daytime openings on Mondays and some lunch openings on Wednesdays!
Think you can book in for a Saturday massage at the last minute? LOL …. think again, we are completely booked until the end of the year. You can always call and be put on our waiting list. Nothing is guaranteed with waiting listed Massage patients. We get a cancellation… Steph sends out a mass text… first one to respond gets the massage !! Its a dog eat dog world this time of year for Massage appointments in Oakville.
Sound appealing to you? Most plans will need a Medical Doctors note, so call your insurance to find out for sure. Bring your MD note in with you so we can try to directly bill your insurance!
*Disclaimer* just because we can directly bill most policies, it doesn’t mean we can directly bill ALL policies. We also have no real way of finding out if we can directly bill your policy until you are here at the clinic. There are millions of policies within insurance companies (not all Great West Life, Manulife, Greenshield etc. plans are the same!) and although we pride ourselves on knowing lots of them, we don’t know them all.

Our price-points are some of the best in the GTA. $400 for one pair of orthotics or $500 for 2 pairs of orthotics.
Most, if not ALL, plans require a Medical Doctors note with diagnosis. Confirm with your insurance what you need and that a Chiropractor can dispense them. Our last day for orthotic orders is December 14th. Consider this your warning – if you want orthotics book your scan by this date at the absolute latest. Get your MD’s note, get in for a scan, put down a deposit and we can guarantee we will get you covered for the 2018 calendar year. Please call your insurance in advance, and make sure you are eligible. Most plans allow for one pair of orthotics every 1 or 2 years – so check to see what YOUR PLAN allows. You will need a Doctors note dated 2018 for most if not all plans. If you get your scan December 14th and don’t get you Doctors note until January 5th your Orthotics will not be covered for your 2018 billing cycle, but will be covered for your 2019 billing cycle. Understand ?
Ask these questions to your insurance company…
1. Are you currently eligible for custom orthotics and how much coverage ($)?
2. Can a chiropractor dispense the orthotics?
3. Do you need a doctors note and if so, do you need a diagnosis on the note? Get a reference number for the phone call … too many times we see patients get bamboozled by their insurance company over the phone, and a reference number can help hold the person on the other end of the call accountable for what they tell you!
Compression Stockings / Socks
Sit all day at the computer? Feet and legs feel old and tired at the end of the day? Compression socks could be the answer. Most plans cover from 2 to 6 pairs a year and we have you covered in all kinds of cool colours, sizes and types !!! You will need a Medical Doctors note for this one for sure. We have yet to see a plan that doesn’t need an MD’s note for compression socks.
Please make sure your note has a diagnosis and the designated compression is written on the note. For all plans, a ‘medical compression’ grade of 20-30 mmHg is needed in order for the socks/stocking to be covered through your health benefit plans. This should cover all plans as we want you to get every penny back from you insurance company!!!
Is Your Coverage Through Greenshield?
If you have benefits from Greenshield then we have GREAT news for you. We can directly bill for orthotics and compression socks! Most insurance plans require that you pay for these products up front and then they will reimburse you the money. Greenshield makes it easier and you don’t have to pay upfront!
If you don’t have Greenshield coverage – don’t panic. Our amazing front desk staff takes care of all the paper work for you (trust us, there’s a lot)! They will make sure everything is in order so that you get reimbursed for your products as quickly as possible.
Dr. Steve will be taking his one week off (he only takes one a year, don’t get mad at him) from December 23rd to December 30th. He will be here on New Years, hours pending, but lets just say he will be available 9ish to 4ish. We all know he has nothing planned and will be missing work from the last week ;).
