Oakville Chiropractor Dr. Steve Knighton
Dr. Steve Knighton is a hands on chiropractor who prides himself on his adjusting abilities. He obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from York University. He then studied at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2008. Dr. Steve is extremely passionate about helping his patients and takes great pride in treating them and helping them get out of pain. He uses a combination of Inferential Current Therapy, Graston, Muscle Release (A.R.T.), pressure points and spinal manipulation to heal his patients and prevent further deterioration. He expects substantial improvements in his patients by visit 8 – 10. Most start feeling better after their first session. However, if the patient is not proceeding as planned, Dr. Steve will work with their family doctor to perform further testing and needed observations. He understands that he can not fix everything and will help a non-responsive patient get the care they need. Away from the clinic he enjoys biking and his dogs :).
Dr. Vince Rosati Chiropractor, Acupuncture Practitioner, Emergency First Responder
Dr. Vince Rosati holds an Honours Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a 4-year Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, where he earned numerous awards for academic achievement. During his time at CMCC, Dr. Rosati spent a significant amount of time treating patients at St. Michael’s Hospital in Downtown Toronto where he worked with an underprivileged inner city population with significant barriers to health care. Vince has worked with family physicians, neurologists, psychologists, nutritionists, nurse practitioners, and many other health professionals in managing complex patient conditions. Dr. Rosati also spent his years at CMCC working with countless athletes, providing side-line assistance to a number of football, rugby, soccer, and hockey teams and tournaments in the Greater Toronto Area. He continues to keep his knowledge up to date by attending post-graduate education courses, including receiving a certification in Functional Integrated Acupuncture from CMCC.
Dr. Rosati was raised and has been involved in the surrounding Oakville community throughout his youth. He grew up participating in many sporting activities including; football, rugby, hockey, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, skiing, golf and running. He has returned to his roots in the Oakville community by offering chiropractic, rehabilitation, and acupuncture services. With a background in personal training, Vince understands the importance of exercise in recovering from and preventing future injuries. He is an excellent listener, devoted to helping his patients to the best of his ability. No one leaves his treatment room without a diagnosis and how Vince can help. Dr. Rosati assists all of his patients achieve healthier lifestyles that they can experience pain free. He also works diligently with his patients to ensure a problem does not come back once it’s gone! In his free time, Vince enjoys watching and playing sports, experiencing the outdoors, and spending as many moments as he can with family and friends!
Oakville Chiropractor Dr. Alisha Nachman DC
Oakville chiropractor Dr. Alisha Nachman has a passion for chiropractic in Oakville that has spanned her entire life. Born and raised off Third Line in Oakville, Alisha grew up as a classical ballet dancer, training at a professional level. At the age of 11, she suffered a neck injury for which she sought chiropractic care in Oakville. She was amazed how quickly her issue resolved and was impressed with the incredible health benefits chiropractic offered. It was during her first treatment that Dr. Nachman decided to one day become a chiropractor. Alisha attended McMaster University where she completed a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with Honours, and a minor in psychology. She then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Clinic Honours. During her time at CMCC, Alisha became a certified Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist (FRCms).
Dr. Nachman is a strong advocate of the chiropractic adjustment; she offers both spinal and extremity manipulation to her patients along with manual therapy, soft tissue therapy and rehabilitative exercises. She is an enthusiastic believer in treating the body as a whole – not just the pain generating site. Dr. Nachman promotes prevention strategies through her care in order to reduce injury from activities of daily living and sports. She also has a special interest in working with athletic populations, specifically ballet dancers and yoga enthusiasts. In her spare time, Alisha leads an active lifestyle and is usually found practicing her handstands in a hot yoga class or hiking the great outdoors with friends.
