4 days after a moderate to severe ankle sprain, Oakville Chiropractor Dr. Steve Knighton is back to his lovely self. 1. Ice the sprained ankle
when you are not moving you’re icing, 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off, 20 on…when you’re not icing you’re elevating for that 20 minutes !
2. Elevation – lift the sprained ankle
don’t have time to ice, lie on the floor with your foot up the wall. He did this 10 – 20 times over the last three days in between patient visits. If can’t do this cause you think it looks weird, high school called they wanted you back.
3. Shoes to prevent and help sprained ankles
– wear supportive running shoes. Asics GT2000 Done. Squeeze your foot into the shoe and go about your day !
4. Interferential Current Treatment for swollen ankles
