Foam Roller Exercises
The Chiropractors at our Oakville clinic are full of information. One of the most commonly used at home recovery tools are foam rollers. Cheap, easy to use, not much time needed. Roll out the affected area 2 – 5 min daily. If it hurts, you’re doing it right 😉
Today’s video blog talks about foam rollers.
Oakville Chiropractic Clinics Dr. Vince talks about the benefits and uses of foams rollers in the video. Foam rollers are known to help improve the flow of blood to the area the patient is rolling. This also helps to reduce any stiffness in muscles and helps improve mobility. It is also recommend that you use foam rollers before exercise as it is a great warm-up. Warming up before any exercise is recommended to reduce the risk of injuries. Foam rollers can be found in different hardness and as Dr. Vince recommends, it is best to start off with a softer foam roller. Foam roller can be purchased at places like Canadian Tire, Walmart, Sportchek. However, we have had the best luck with Winners located at Dorval Crossing in Oakville, where a foam roller can be purchased for around 20 bucks.
